Hi, I'm Karen, the artist behind The Afterglow Studio.

I've loved making art ever since I was a kid, from drawing my favorite animals and cartoon characters to discovering my love for watercolor and digital painting. I started The Afterglow Studio while recovering from surgery, when painting became a way to revisit places I'd traveled to and imagine the ones I hoped to see someday. It brought me so much joy and healing that I wanted to share that feeling with others.

My art is inspired by travel, nature, and the little moments that make life meaningful. Lately, I've been creating a collection inspired by the ocean and the childhood summer vacations I spent by the sea.
